Have you ever gone shopping for a very large object-maybe a household appliance that the company had to deliver and probably even install?
A lot of us can relate right? Let’s go on.
In most cases, when you ordered the appliance, you paid the purchase price and got a receipt.
When you left the store, you were certain that what you had paid for was going to be delivered.
What gives you that assurance-especially if you are like me is the purchase receipt I am holding which is the ‘evidence’ that I own that appliances even though it has not been delivered to me.
And I would definitely keep that receipt safe.
The same rule applies to our walk with God.
Read with me: ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’- Hebrews 11:1
Faith is your evidence of payment for all promises of God for you, that are yet to be delivered.
Faith is in a sense your purchase receipt for yet to be delivered promises.
How are your purchase receipts from God holding up today?
Are some torn, crumpled or missing?
Why don’t you go back to the word and gather them together again?
More often than not, you’ll need to present those receipts at delivery and installation of those promises.
Receipts gathering mode activated!
Who’s with me?
